The "Childcare and Women Rehabilitation" project is a Diocesan institution that had its inception in the city of Margao in the year 1942, with the cooperation of the ladies and gentlemen who generously and dedicatedly worked or gave their valuable cooperation for the rehabilitation and welfare of women under the direction of a priest. The project operates under the umbrella of Caritas Goa, an organization registered in 1966, with the goal of alleviating human suffering and improving the lives of the less fortunate. The projects mission is to protect women and children and offer them a safe haven, emotional support, and opportunities for personal growth and empowerment.
